Description: A Rotor or Rotator is a mast-mounted, motor-driven device that permits the TV viewer to conveniently rotate (orient) the outdoor antenna in any direction to optimize reception of a desired TV channel. A rotor should be considered when TV signals are being derived from broadcast towers in different directions and a single antenna cannot accommodate all locations. A rotator consists of two parts: 1) an indoor control unit, and 2) an outdoor drive unit. DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control), pronounced "Die-Sec",is a special communication protocol for use between a satellite receiver and a device such as a multi-dish switch or a small dish antenna rotor. DiSEqC was developed by European satellite provider Eutelsat, which now acts as the standards agency for the protocol. DiSEqC DiSEqC 1.0 1.2, 1.3, and USALS - Universal Satellites Automatic Location System. -  (USALS), also known (unofficially) as DiSEqC 1.3, Go X or Go to XX is a satellite dish motor protocol that automatically creates a list of available satellite positions in a motorised satellite dish setup. Diseqc motors offer a cheap and convenient method for tracking the Clarke Belt with your satellite dish. They can be easily installed and aligned.

Thomson Saginaw is the first name in reliable, high performance linear actuators.  Their Performance Pak Actuators have been the first choice of the satellite industry since 1980. Thomson Saginaw - The ball screw drive is an assembly that converts rotary motion to linear motion (or vice versa).  It consists of a ball screw and a ball nut packaged as an assembly with recirculating ball bearings.  The interface between the ball screw and the nut is made by ball bearings which roll in matching ball forms.  With rolling elements, the ball screw drive has a very low friction coefficient and is typically greater than 90% efficient.

Description: The General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies (GDST) Model 7134 Antenna Control System is a microprocessor-based system incorporating digital technology for accurate antenna positioning with high reliability, maximum flexibility, and a straightforward and practical user interface. Our brushless construction uses a rotary transformer to pass the reference signal to the rotor. This design eliminates the normal brush and slip ring sliding contact used in conventional resolvers.
