Description: The CATV Linx Emcore/Force Model 2805-110 Channel CATV Private Network Solution (PNS) transmitter is part of a robust system for transferring up to 110 channels of VSB/AM modulated signals over a single-mode optical fiber. The system provides 40-870 MHz of usable bandwidth for video signals stacked at 6 MHz intervals. A low loss single-mode optical fiber allows full channel loading to beyond 20 km while maintaining a good carrier-tonoise ratio. Description: Modern Satellite TV systems such as DirecTV have multiple coax feeds from the dish for different polarities.  These RF signals feed into a Single Wire Multiswitches, or SWiM system.  The Thor F-LB41 systems are designed for distributing satellite service such as DirecTV to many different locations from a single dish array.  This system converts each incoming L-Band feed to an independent optical RF channel using a DWDM optics.  All four LNB channels are then combined onto a single fiber output through an internal DWDM coupler.  Alternately, individual signal outputs can also be used for transport over 4 fibers.
