Elliniki Radiophonia Tileorassi is the largest Greek-language channel in the world, reaching Europe, Africa, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East and Canada. Founded in 1990 by the governments of Greece and Cyprus, the 24-hour channel receives much of its programming from the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, the national Greek television broadcaster.
